Our Mission

Global Partnerships Incorporated has been established to support underrepresented communities by mediating partnerships between organizations in the United States and communities in developing countries. We serve to motivate and empower individuals to become responsible citizens who will contribute to the social, economic, and cultural development of their communities. Specifically, GPI seeks to promote an integrated, holistic approach to connecting community members and resources that will aid in building and enhancing sustainable educational, economic, and cultural capital. Our efforts focus primarily on the development of academic, economic, medical, and spiritual capital within the community.

Our efforts are realized by:

Building and creating infrastructure to meet the survival needs of developing communities, thus removing barriers to access to education and commerce. Developing and equipping educators in under-developed environments, while using sustainable, organic, and culturally relevant strategies. Creating partnerships between GPI academic institutions in the United States and those in developing countries, providing learning opportunities for GPI educators and students

Our Adopted Community:

GPI has created a partnership with the small island community of Azizakpe off the coast of Ada, Ghana. Ada is located on the southeast coast of Ghana, where the Volta River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is home to one of the world’s largest estuaries, with a temperature range of highs over 100℉ and lows of 75℉. There is an average of 36 inches of rainfall each year, with 79% humidity. Unfortunately, three feet of rain is not adequate for an entire community when this constitutes one of their primary means of fresh water supply. The village of Azizakpe is identified by GPI as lacking basic survival necessities such as clean water, food, and shelter, in addition to having extremely limited educational and medical resources. We have committed our ongoing support to this beautiful, culturally rich community of 500 residents through multiple endeavors.
